Kind Community - Giving Back
One of the things I hope to be able to do on a regular basis is to give back. Whether that be by donating my time or my products, it's something that's very important to me for worthy organizations. I saw a story shared by an old friend from high school who's wife had co-founded an anti-bullying non-profit in Pocatello called Kind Community. So I offered up some free shirts to show my support for their debut kick-off event last week. They were, of course, extatic! And then they sent me the artwork. After I picked myself up off the floor, I contemplated how quickly I could figure out how to do a multi-colored logo on a dark T-shirt. Because, after all, I am just getting started on this whole adventure and haven't done any multi-colored shirts yet. I knew I'd need to figure it out sooner rather than later and I love learning and trying new things. So with the help of YouTube a buddy with a lot of extra tim on his hands and a quick training trip to Portland, we figured it out. Oh....and it helped that we had a lot of extra T-shirts on hand too!!
